'Running is the greatest metaphor for life, because you get out of it what you put into it.'

In late March and glorious weather B.O.B colleague Sam and I cycled to Westminster at the crack of dawn and ran back and forth across the almost empty London Bridges on a scenic 15k run through the city. 🚴🏼🚴🏽‍♂️

The same week we invited Shepherds Bush volunteers Howard and Graham to join the BOB19Run club and since then every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 7.30 come rain or shine, two or more of us have met outside the Prison gates of Wormwood scrubs and completed a 5 - 10 k run. 🏃🏻🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾‍♂️🏃‍♀️

Recently we had the pleasure to welcome Andreas who has played Badminton In the B.O.B club and now plays for Minds United a football team which supports people with mental health issues and is based in Ladbroke grove. www.mindsunitedfc.com 🏸⚽️

After almost three months and with Lockdown slowly loosening, we are now able to open up the BOB19runclub, no pressure to come regularly and any level of fitness is welcome (walk/run is an option) but the ability to complete a 5k without conking out would be an advantage. 💚
