'The best things in life are not things!'

Open every Wednesday evening from 5.30pm to 8.30pm

Acorn Hall: 1 East Row, North Kensington, London W10 5AR

Build on Belief opened the Wednesday evening peer-led social club at Acorn Hall in December 2017 as a part of the local authorities response to the tragic fire that engulfed Grenfell tower in the summer. The intention was to offer an added evening of support to local residents whose substance use may have been affected by the fire, and who wished to access a peer-led service mid-week. The service was closely modelled on the Weekend Social Club that runs from the same location.

Two of our most experienced Service Managers were happy to take on the role of running the service, and a lot of our volunteer team from both Kensington and Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham were quick to offer their time and commitment to help us out.

What we offer

As well as refreshments and a bite to eat, the Wednesday evening project can provide needle exchange packs to those who want them, along with plenty of advice, information and support. Should you feel that you require more structured, therapeutic help, please have a chat with one of the Service Managers. They will be happy to refer you to the appropriate service the following day.

Other activities currently available are as follows:

Art Workshop 5.30pm - 8.30pm
Shiatsu 5.30pm - 8.30pm
