Recovery Support Coach and Trainer

After some turbulent and rebellious teenage years growing up in Brighton I left home when I was 18, travelled the world, lived abroad and worked in bars. I came home and decided to do a degree with the hope of becoming a journalist so that I could give marginalised people a voice, so I moved to London to study and ended up staying for 7 years. After graduating I did work as a journalist for a bit but after realising that I was actually powerless to make positive change in the media industry I wanted to do something more meaningful.

I then worked in hostels and across a variety of roles in the homelessness sector, specifically with women who used substances to manage unimaginable trauma. I managed a women’s service in Newham for a while, before realising how much I needed to be by the sea and moving back to Brighton to study to become a psychotherapist. I am excited to start working with BoB and to start building relationships with the clients, enabling them to develop the skills needed to live life on their own terms.
