'Courage is the price that life extracts for granting peace.'

We've all heard of mindfulness, it being somewhat fashionable, but have we every given it a try?

Stress, anxiety and depression are common problems for many people these days, and this is especially true for those who are recovering from substance use problems. Mindfulness is a simple practice that can be learned in a few easy sessions, practised almost anywhere, and for which there is a growing body of evidence suggesting that it can markedly improve long-term recovery outcomes.

The five ways to well-being place emphasis on taking notice, and mindfulness is a useful way of connecting both with one's body and emotional states, taking you to that calm place inside that we all often struggle to reach.

We are very lucky at Build on Belief to have an excellent facilitator for our mindfulness sessions, who also works for BoB, Stuart Angus.

We currently offer mindfulness sessions online. For more information on times and locations, please follow this link
